About the event
About the Event
As Ayurveda practitioners, how do we support patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) as there is no cure or treatment for this neurodegenerative disease (manasa roga). How can Ayurveda contribute to the future of healthcare for AD, which is creating an enormous strain on the healthcare system, families and the federal budget? Using evidence based studies from his research work and coupled with the Ayurveda concepts of manasa roga, Dr. Ram's talk will focus on a comprehensive, systems-based program that identifies several factors that contribute to AD. The talk will also focus on dietary and lifestyle recommendations that address the body, mind, and emotions.
