About the event

This presentation is an introduction to the foundational pillars of Jyotish/Vedic Astrology and its relation to Ayurveda. The dance between the Microcosm in a human and the Forces in the Universe known as the Macrocosm.

In Sanskrit, the term, Jyotish loosely translates into "science of light" and it is often called Vedic astrology.  This is a science of understanding the individual and their life's journey by seeing the relationship between the individual and the universe at the moment of birth.

Jyotish is a Vedic science meaning its roots are in the Vedas, as are Ayurveda's. One aspect of Jyotish is called "Medical Astrology" and it may be used to understand the forces at play in a client's physical or mental health.  By considering the impact of the individual's astrological chart, we may have a clearer vision of both the person before us and the best pathway to their optimal health.
