Great news! CAAM’s newest Board Member is Sukhdeep Kaur. She is a practicing attorney as well as a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. She completed her Ayurvedic training at Mt Madonna Center in 2018. She uses her Ayurvedic training for her own health and offers guidance to her community when asked. Her primary work is in the practice of law and her interest in Ayurveda stems from her desire to live healthfully and support others to do so as well. She furthered her knowledge in Ayurvedic cooking and the use of dietary herbs with Acharya Shunya through Vedika Global.
She has supported Ayurvedic organizations with her legal expertise and brings these skills and insights to CAAM, as well. Her enthusiasm is summed up in her statement, “CAAM is in the unique position of leading the California Ayurvedic professionals into mainstream medicine where Ayurveda rightfully belongs and I would like to work with CAAM towards facilitating that in California.”
