About the event
Amadea Morningstar has been teaching and working in wholistic healing fields for more than 40 years. She is the author of three Ayurvedic cookbooks and a book on Polarity Therapy. She founded the Ayurveda Polarity Therapy and Yoga Institute and has more credentials than I can list here. She has spoken at NAMA and CAAM conferences and is an inspiring teacher. You may be familiar with the Mahagunas - Sattwa, Rajas, and Tamas. In this month's Chai with CAAM Amadea will discuss how they relate to Polyvagal Theory. This theory is often used to understand why we respond the way we do in response to trauma or stressful situations. If the term "Polyvagal Theory" is new to you, you may want to read up about it here: Polyvagal Theory
By understanding the relationship between the state of the mind and our stress responses, we can begin to understand why we do the things we do and how we could be more conscious, healthier, and happier in the moment.
Please join us as this gifted speaker shares this wisdom with us.
Chai with CAAM is open to ALL and FREE. I hope we'll see you there! Recordings will be available after the event and will be distributed to all who register.
